1996 Kenzo Tange building with the iconic 32-meter floating titanium sphere observatory; 100-meter Tokyo Bay view.
A 1996 broadcast headquarters designed by Kenzo Tange, with a 32-meter titanium sphere suspended between the building's two towers at the 25th floor. The sphere houses an observation deck at 100 meters with 360-degree views of Tokyo Bay, the Rainbow Bridge, and the city skyline. The building's other floors host Fuji TV studios and a souvenir shop with anime tie-ins (One Piece is filmed here).
Sphere observatory entry 800 yen; closed Mondays. Sunset window from the south side gives Mt Fuji silhouette on clear winter days.
