Fuji Onsen

A classic neighborhood sento within walking distance of Kyoto Station, named after Mount Fuji and decorated with the traditional large tile mural of the mountain that older bathhouses are known for. The water is hot and mineral-rich, with a jet bath and cold plunge pool available alongside the main baths. The facility is well-regarded for being genuinely welcoming to international visitors and is among the more tattoo-friendly sento options in central Kyoto. For a low-cost, authentic way to wind down after a day of sightseeing, it is hard to beat.
