Mount Fuji's oldest shrine, nestled peacefully on the forested shores of Lake Kawaguchiko.
The oldest shrine on Mount Fuji, originally located at the second station but later moved to the shores of Lake Kawaguchiko for preservation. The atmospheric grounds are surrounded by ancient cherry trees. It remains a tranquil, culturally significant spot away from the lake's busier tourist zones.

Look closely at the main hall, which was meticulously disassembled and carried down the mountain piece by piece in 1974.
