A historic temple associated with the tragic and profound Fudaraku Tokai religious practice. Devoted monks would set sail in sealed wooden boats from this shore, seeking the pure land of Kannon. The temple grounds feature a reconstructed, sealed boat that illustrates this extreme devotion.
