Fuchaku Beach

Popular resort beach in Onna Village on Okinawa's west coast, backed by several large hotels that provide a full range of marine activities from banana boats and jet skis to parasailing and glass-bottom boat tours. The beach faces the East China Sea with soft sand and warm, clear waters that stay swimmable from April through October. While more developed than Okinawa's secluded northern beaches, Fuchaku offers the convenience of on-site equipment rentals, showers, and beachside dining. Sunsets here are particularly stunning, painting the sky in shades of orange and pink over the open ocean, and the nearby Cape Manzamo cliffs are worth a short drive for dramatic coastal scenery.
