Remove shoes before entering any hall. Look for a shoe rack at the entrance. Carry a plastic bag for your shoes if none is provided.

Reservations: General daytime visits are walk-in (no reservation). The famous autumn night illumination (November) requires advance tickets that sell out quickly. Book illumination tickets through the temple's website or JTB when they go on sale in October.
