Cup Noodles Museum Yokohama
カップヌードルミュージアム 横浜
Overview
Interactive museum where you can create your own custom Cup Noodle package and flavor.
The Cup Noodles Museum in Yokohama's Minato Mirai district celebrates Momofuku Ando, who invented instant ramen in 1958 and the cup noodle in 1971. The main draw is the My Cup Noodles Factory, where you design your own cup, choose from dozens of soup bases and toppings, and watch it get vacuum-sealed on a miniature production line. A recreation of Ando's backyard workshop shed shows where it all began, and an enormous wall displays every instant noodle product ever released. There is also an interactive exhibit where you shrink to noodle size inside a virtual factory. Book the Cup Noodles Factory slot online before you go, especially on weekends.
Local tips
Make your own custom Cup Noodle for 500 yen. Choose your soup base and 4 toppings. Go on a weekday to avoid the school group rush.
