Chidorigafuchi Park

Chidorigafuchi Park follows the northwestern moat of the Imperial Palace, and each spring it becomes one of Tokyo's most visited cherry blossom spots. More than 260 trees form a pink canopy over the water, and the rental rowboats on the moat let you drift directly beneath the branches. The evening illumination, with blossoms glowing against the dark water and palace walls, is genuinely atmospheric. Outside cherry season, the green moat-side path offers a quiet break from nearby Kudanshita, and the adjacent Chidorigafuchi National Cemetery adds a reflective note to any visit.
