センターグリル
Beloved 'Yoshoku' (Western-style Japanese) diner famous for its ketchup-based Napolitan pasta.
A Yokohama landmark since 1946, Center Grill in the Noge entertainment district is where yoshoku, the Japanese-Western fusion cuisine, shows its best side. The signature dish is Napolitan spaghetti: noodles tossed in a sweet ketchup sauce with sausage, peppers, and onion, then cooked on an iron plate until the edges caramelize and crisp. The retro interior, counter seating, and handwritten menu have barely changed in decades. Omurice, hayashi rice, and Hamburg steak fill out the menu, all priced for a neighborhood diner. It sits a short walk from Sakuragicho Station, ideally placed before or after an evening in Noge's bar district.
