One of Japan's largest pedestrian suspension bridges, stretching 250 meters at 142 meters above the Aya River valley within Kyushu Sanchi Quasi-National Park. The bridge spans a UNESCO-recognized evergreen broadleaf forest, the largest remaining stand in Japan, that forms an unbroken green canopy below. Nature trails descend from the bridge into the forest floor, where giant camphor and laurel trees rise overhead.
