Atsuta Port Morning Market

Held daily from April to October, this is a true 'fishermen's market.' The focus here is on seasonal catches like salmon, flatfish, and octopus. It lacks the polish of city markets but makes up for it with incredibly low prices and a salty, authentic atmosphere. It’s a great stop on a coastal drive north of Sapporo.
