Ataka Sumiyoshi Shrine

This shrine’s past as a port for kitamaebune trading ships is the draw. In the main hall, look for the rare paintings of these vessels. On the grounds, find two anchors from a ship that sheltered here in 1902. The annual festival runs from September 7th to the 9th.
