Araha Beach

Popular stretch of white sand in Chatan where the local and expat communities mix easily, giving it a relaxed, cosmopolitan vibe distinct from Okinawa's more remote resort beaches. The adjacent Araha Park adds basketball courts, playgrounds, and barbecue areas that keep families and groups busy beyond just swimming. The water is calm and shallow, making it safe for younger children, and kayak and paddleboard rentals are available during the warmer months.
