Overview

Uninhabited island with pristine snorkeling, where fish swarm underwater reefs and white beaches remain empty.

Uninhabited islet near Zamami in the Kerama Islands, accessible by kayak or small boat during low tide when a natural sandbar emerges connecting it to the main island. The surrounding waters are remarkably clear, with coral reefs just steps from the beach where snorkelers can spot colorful tropical fish, sea cucumbers, and the occasional sea turtle. Because the island has no facilities or residents, it offers an unspoiled, Robinson Crusoe-like escape with nothing but white sand, turquoise water, and silence. Bring your own water and sun protection, and check tide charts before heading out so you do not get stranded on the return.
