Credited as the birthplace of miso curry milk ramen, a uniquely Aomori invention that blends rich miso broth with curry powder and a splash of milk for a creamy, gently spiced bowl. The shop has a casual atmosphere with both counter seating and tables, and the menu is focused: most people come for the signature ramen and nothing else. The broth here is bolder and more savory than the competing Asari shop, with a deeper curry kick. At around 1,000 yen, it is a filling meal and a genuine piece of Aomori food culture you won't find replicated elsewhere in Japan.
