Aji no Sapporo Asari
restaurant
味の札幌 浅利
Busy spot for Miso Curry Milk Ramen, known for a slightly sweeter and milder soup than Onishi.
One of two shops in Aomori serving the city's signature miso curry milk ramen, a combination that sounds improbable but works surprisingly well. Compared to its rival Onishi, Asari's broth leans sweeter and milder, with the curry spice softened by a generous pour of milk and the miso adding savory depth. A pat of butter melting on top finishes the bowl. Portions are generous for around 1,000 yen, making it an affordable and warming lunch, especially during Aomori's long winters.
