138 Tower Park Winter Illumination
138タワーパーク ツインアーチのメリークリスマス
Overview
Festive winter light event featuring different themes each year at the Kiso Sansen National Park.
Each winter from mid-November through Christmas, 138 Tower Park in Ichinomiya fills with approximately 300,000 lights arranged around a seasonal theme. The park is named after its 138-meter Twin Arch observation tower, the height a wordplay on Ichinomiya (1-3-8 in Japanese). From the 100-meter observation deck, the illuminated grounds spread out below with the broader city nightscape beyond, giving you a full panoramic view of the installation. The event is family-oriented, with food trucks and interactive displays on the grounds. The park is part of the larger Kiso Sansen National Government Park alongside the Kisogawa River.
