1.5km green corridor through central Sapporo hosting festivals, beer gardens, and snow festival ice sculptures.
Odori Park runs 1.5 kilometers through the center of Sapporo, forming a long green corridor between two rows of elm trees. In any given season it holds something different: cherry blossoms in late April, the Snow Festival ice sculptures in February, and the Sapporo Autumn Fest in September, when vendors line the paths selling ramen, grilled lamb, local beer, and Hokkaido wine. Outside festival weeks, it's where Sapporo residents eat lunch on benches or walk between districts. The TV Tower at the eastern end gives a good elevated view of the whole length of the park.
